The legalization of marijuana in many parts of the world has exploded the demand for this highly therapeutic plant. Many CBD companies have opened shop and promise to offer the best product in the market.

However, most of these companies are using dishonest means to trick customers into buying a cheap and low-grade product. Low-quality products pose great health risks. Toxic pesticides and animal bi-products in their constituents threaten to expose you to a host of diseases.

Thankfully, there are certain criteria that can help you judge the authenticity of a supplier, allowing you to have an informed choice. To steer yourself in the right direction, you can check these trusted CBD reviews or our advice below.

Here are some tips on how to choose the best supplier of CBD products:

1. Sells Premium Grade CBD

The quality of your CBD is the most important factor to consider when selecting a CBD supplier. Most cannabidiol circulating in the market is counterfeit and ineffective. For instance, there are 220 uncertified dispensaries in Los Angeles alone peddling various strains of this counterfeit product.

When researching a supplier, make sure its product is premium grade. And, don’t worry if its price is a bit high, it’s worth the investment.

Low-quality cannabidiol is not only ineffective but also adulterated with hazardous bacteria and toxins. It’s harvested with harmful solvents, like propane and butane, which leech into the plant and produce “toxic cannabidiol.” Animal bi-products, like bat droppings, also become a part of the plant when it’s grown in uncontrolled conditions.

High-Quality CBD is a derivative of clean hemp and botanist-regulated. Only clean methods and resources are used in its cultivation. As a tip, find a product that’s CO2 extracted. It might be more expensive, but it yields a much purer final product than a petroleum-based one.

Also, look out for hemp seed oil mislabeled as CBD oil. Although both share similarities, hemp seed oil has very little therapeutic properties compared to CBD oil.

The THC content in your CBD should also be really low. THC is the main psychoactive compound in marijuana and is subject to drug testing. A survey conducted by the FDA in 2015 found rampant mislabeling in CBD products. Some products were found to contain less CBD than advertised, and others too much THC.

To protect yourself from any misshapen situation, make sure your product contains THC below the legal limit (.3%).

2. Provides a Consistent and Verifiable Product

If your distributor does not provide concrete proof of testing, you will have to invest in third-party lab testing. The lab should not just test for THC or CBD content, but all cannabinoids in a product. Furthermore, it must also determine plant quality, byproducts, and other ingredients to make sure everything is in order.

If you’re in the market for full-spectrum CBD, choose a distributor that’s renowned for keeping a consistent range of cannabinoids in its product. For CBD isolate, don’t settle for a company that offers a product lower than 99% purity.

3. Has a Pricing Model that Meets Your Needs

Make sure the distributor’s pricing model is consistent with your needs and budget. Calculate the concentration and strength of products from different suppliers and then compare prices.

Also, before making any purchase, study the demands of your market. While some products with high CBD content provide good value, they often cost more than the average customer can afford. Products in the 300 to 500 mg range are likely to make a better impact than ones with 1000mg of cannabidiol.

4. Shows Great Regard for Client Satisfaction

Distributors that are willing to go the extra mile for you are your safest bet. If a company is willing to educate you about their product by handing out brochures, and other marketing stationary, it can make a world of difference. The hallmark of a great company is that it cares about its brand and makes efforts to satisfy its clients.

Furthermore, a distributor that can provide concrete visual or statistical proof of the authenticity of its products is also a huge plus. This can save you valuable time and protect you from falling prey to tacky services.

A good distributor keeps no secrets. On the contrary, it is enthusiastic about proving the purity, safety, and legitimacy of its products.

Takeaways

You must take into consideration a host of factors in your search for the ideal CBD distributor. From product consistency to quality and customer care, great CBD distributors will give you the complete package. They will also go above and beyond to prove that their product is regulated and their distribution channels are legal and state-endorsed.

You made a good point that having a concrete proof of testing will make a CBD supplier reputable and trustworthy. I’m planning to start taking CBD products in order to offset my anxiety attacks because they are starting to get worse these past two months. I hope that the sellers in the CBD products shop that I’ll choose can give tips on whether I should regularly take them or only during attacks.
